POLICE have launched a manhunt to find an inmate who has escaped from prison.
Oliver Dale was last seen at HMP Thorn Cross prison in Appleton at 1.10pm yesterday, Monday.
The 22-year-old is said to have links across Liverpool, Wirral and Lancashire areas.
Dale, from Liverpool, is described as white male, around 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build with short brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a blue and orange puffer jacket, a grey baseball cap, dark black tracksuit, black top underneath and grey Adidas trainers.
A number of enquiries have been carried out to try and track down Dale and Cheshire Police are urging anyone with information as to his whereabouts to get in touch.
