A MAN has appeared in court following a drugs raid in Warrington.
As reported by the Warrington Guardian yesterday, Monday, officers raided a home in Penketh on Monday morning.
Officers from Warrington beat team and the problem solving team executed a warrant at a property on Maple Crescent at around 8am.
On entering the property, officers discovered a large number of cannabis plants inside, believed to number around 300 in total.There was also an ‘extremely dangerous’ electricity set-up which posed a risk to neighbouring properties.
Lam Tan Cahn, 34, of Maple Crescent, was charged with the production of controlled class B drugs (cannabis).
He was remanded into custody to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday.
