A CULCHETH resident's hard work has paid off, as she has been promoted as a result of her apprenticeship with a firm in Salford.
Theresa Divers has been rewarded with a promotion at Salford debt collection and ledger management business Cerberus Receivables Management (CRM).
CRM helps businesses, lenders and restructuring specialists to recover debt in both trading and distressed situations.
Now, as we approach National Apprenticeship Week 2023 (February 6-12), a promising employee at CRM has been recognised for her impressive work at the end of her two-year apprenticeship.
According to CRM, Theresa Divers, from Culcheth, will now become 'part of a highly respected and experienced team at CRM which looks after sales ledger review and evaluation, credit management and control services, debt verification and collection, audit investigation, specialist legal recoveries and reporting.'
Theresa's apprenticeship specialised in business administration and was coordinated by one of the country's largest providers of experience for young people - the Growth Company.
The Culcheth resident passed all three aspects of her apprenticeship with flying colours, as well as scoring an impressive 86 per cent on the UK Finance IFABL foundation course.
Theresa said: "Starting at CRM as an apprentice administrative assistant helped me build a good foundation and an excellent understanding of the processes and procedures of a case from beginning to end.
"This allowed me to make a smooth transition to my new role.”
When asked what advice she would give to prospective apprentices, Theresa added: "Don’t be afraid to ask questions and make mistakes - as that is how you will learn - and be confident in yourself.”
Katie Pomfret, head of lender services at CRM, said: “It has been great to watch Theresa grow throughout her apprenticeship and now start to excel in the role of Receivables Executive.
“She is an asset to the team and we look forward to helping develop her skills and knowledge in the future.
"Well done Theresa on your continued hard work.”
