ROADWORKS, resurfacing, and barrier repairs needed at Junction 10 of the M62 are unlikely to be completed in time for rush hour today.
This means that it is expected Junction 10 will be closed until this evening.
The junction has been closed since the early hours of this morning - January 31 - when two HGVs collided on the sliproad.

One motorist sadly died at the scene.
This was the second incident that has caused issues on the M62 today, with the first being an unrelated lorry fire between J7 and J8 that took place last night, and has caused disruption into today.
A National Highways NW update said: "A police investigation into the second incident at junction 10 is continuing.
"In this incident two lorries collided at around 4.30am resulting in a second fire. Resurfacing and safety barrier repairs are also likely to be required at this location with the potential for the eastbound carriageway to remain closed into this evening’s peak travel period.
"Due to the location of the incident within Junction 10, drivers on the eastbound M62 are still able to join the northbound and southbound M6."
The statement continued: "Drivers leaving the northbound and southbound M6 are also able to join the eastbound - and westbound - M62 although the interchange is likely to experience congestion throughout the day.
"Drivers are advised to check traffic conditions before setting out on journeys. Live traffic information is always available at www.trafficengland.com or from National Highways’ 24-7 customer contact centre at 0300 123 5000."
