A MAJOR road through Culcheth village is planned for a closure that will see disruption to many of the village's road links to Leigh.
The roadworks are set to take place near the intersection between Common Lane and Twiss Green Lane.
According to a recently-erected sign on the main road, works are set to begin on Monday, February 20, and will continue for one week.
The closure will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm on each of these days.
It is not stated on the new warning notice sign why the works will be taking place, but drivers should be advised of disruption to their routes through Culcheth during this week.
Common Lane is one of the major routes through Culcheth village, and serves as a main link toward neighbouring areas such as Leigh.
