IKEA Warrington was evacuated yesterday, Friday, after a leak from a carbon dioxide cylinder.
Staff from the Gemini Retail Park furniture store noticed that the cylinder which is used to carbonate soft drinks was leaking at around 4.30pm.
One fire engine from Warrington attended along with one from Penketh.
As a precaution, the store was evacuated for a short time while crews removed the cylinder and placed it in the open air to allow the gas to vent safety.
