While he went on to make 10 appearances for the Championship third-place finishers that year, scoring two tries in the process, he also played three games on loan at Oxford in League One.

Over the next two seasons the ex-Drighlington junior pulled on the Batley shirt 48 times and crossed for 15 tries, earning the coach's player-of-the-year award in 2018.

A few weeks after Harrison helped Featherstone win the 1895 Cup Final at Wembley in 2021, The Wire announced signing him for 2022 but the forward tore his ACL playing for Rovers a few weeks later which delayed his debut for The Wire until last June.
