WARRINGTON Police arrested a man in the town centre last night for urinating on a shop door then proceeding to assault three emergency workers.
At 3:45am officers were called on account of the man, who was drunk, urinating and causing trouble.
Officers then arrested the man, after which point he assaulted the emergency workers.
He is also refusing to give police his details.
This comes off the back of a spate of arrests Warrington Police have announced from last night.
A 24 year old woman was arrested on Manchester Road for "a number of alcohol related offences."
Police reminded people to #KnowYourLimits due to the rise in alcohol related arrests around Christmas.
Further, a 38 year old man was arrested on Winwick street, having been seen driving by an officer and testing positive on a drugs swipe.

This led to a reminder from Warrington Police regarding the #FatalFive, the five attributes of a driver more likely to be involved in a fatal crash.
These are:
- Careless driving
- Drink and drug driving
- Not wearing a seatbelt
- Using a mobile phone
- Speeding
