GRITTERS will be out again on roads across Warrington from this evening ahead of potentially the coldest night of the year.
Warrington Borough Council has confirmed that its fleet of gritters will be out and about, with afternoon teams working from 1.30pm.

It's going to be freezing again tonight, with the forecast of -2, with the potential for the country to experience the coldest night of the year for a second day running.
A Met Office spokesman urged commuters across the UK to ‘leave a little bit more time’ if driving and to travel with ‘a bit of extra caution’.
It comes after commuters faced travel chaos this morning as large parts of the UK were hit by ice, fog and snow.
Rod Dennis from the RAC said their teams were ‘exceptionally busy’ today, helping more than 7,500 motorists with breakdowns.
He added that this was 50 per cent more than what they would see on a typical Monday in December.
It was the coldest night of the year so far, with temperatures in northern Scotland dipping below -15C.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service added: “Please do not venture onto frozen ponds, lakes, canals or rivers during the cold weather, no matter how frozen the water may appear.
“If you see a person or animal in difficulty, phone 999, and if safe to do so, use a throw line or branch to reach out.”
