MOTORISTS are being warned of delays on the M6 this afternoon, Friday.
Queueing traffic and delays are building on the motorway following a crash.
The accident occurred on the northbound carriageway from junction 21 for Woolston and junction 21a for the M62 at Croft Interchange.
One lane is currently closed due to the incident, with congestion stretching back over Thelwall Viaduct to junction 20 for the M56 at Lymm interchange.
Travel time is said to be around 20 minutes on top of normal. All lanes were briefly held for 10 minutes, with all but one reopening.
