A POLICE car sustained damage after crashing into a fence on Tuesday evening.
The Cheshire Police vehicle collided with the metal fence while attending an emergency incident in Paddington.
The car was in the Commissioner Square area at around 8.20pm, with residents reporting police activity and vehicles using their emergency equipment.
The force has not revealed the nature of the incident, however it confirmed that a car crashed into and damaged a fence.
No injuries were sustained by those inside the police car, which remarkably missed a nearby tree and lamppost.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 8.20pm on Tuesday, November 6, a police car responding to a grade one incident was involved in a minor collision on Commissioner Square, Warrington.
“The car collided with a fence, causing damage to the fence and the front of the car.
“There were no injuries.”
