A BUSY Warrington road was closed by police following an accident this afternoon, Wednesday.
Officers from Cheshire Police and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service were called to Orford Lane at around 3pm.
This came after reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene, with her injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “We were called to reports of a collision on Orford Lane at around 3pm.
“The collision occurred near to the Co-op between the junctions of Forster Street and Longford Street involving a black Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.
“The pedestrian, a woman, was treated at the scene by paramedics. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
