CHRISTMAS markets are set to descend upon Time Square this weekend as part of the town centre's festivities.
Usually a one-day event, the makers' market will be located on Time Square on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
A whole host of events will take place on the square throughout the weekend, too.
The festive markets will feature a host of Christmas-themed stalls, as well as more traditional craft and produce stands, too.
Located in Time Square, the markets will kick off on Friday, December 9, from 4pm and lasting well into the evening until 9pm.
The events on Saturday, however, will begin at 10am and will run for the entire day until 5pm.
Not only this, but Saturday's events - December 10 - include a visit by the Grinch, between 10am and 1pm.
Plus, shoppers and visitors to the markets can expect to see real-life reindeer lighting up the square on Saturday, too.
The organisers of the makers' market also promise to have 'festive' surprises in store for Friday and Sunday's markets, too.
There will be performances from local choirs throughout the weekend, as well as a visit from Father Christmas himself on Sunday from midday, alongside his trusty elves.
Saturday will also be the place to be for live music, as the Creative Adventures' choir will be performing a variety of festive favourites.
Market regulars Loose Change buskers will also be performing throughout the weekend's activities.
The makers' market organisers said: "Tag 'Time Square Warrington' in your Grinch photos for the chance to win two tickets and two £10 vouchers for Warrington Market’s comedy night.
"Shop local and support independents this festive season.
"Merry Christmas, everyone."
Warrington makers' market will be open this weekend, kicking off at 4pm on Friday, December 9, and will run until Sunday, December 11.
