RESIDENTS of a north Warrington estate reported suspicious activity yesterday, Tuesday.
Households on the Winwick Park estate made reports to Cheshire Police that a ‘suspicious man was acting strange’ in the area in the morning.
He was said to be posting leaflets through doors.
Officers say any concerns should be reported to police so they can be investigated.
The force’s Burtonwood and Winwick Police team said: “I have had reports of a suspicious looking male walking around the Winwick Park Estate early in a morning posting leaflets and acting a little strange.
“If you have any concerns or see anyone, please call 101 and report it.
“You are the eyes and ears for your area, so please keep a lookout.”
