A COURT hearing has been requested to remove caravans from land in Birchwood.
Three caravans and associated vehicles have set up an unauthorised encampment on land at Rutherford House.
The traveller group moved onto the site on Tuesday, November 29, according to an unauthorised encampment log for Cheshire and Warrington.
The log, operated by Cheshire West and Chester Council, says that as of this morning, Monday, the group had remained beyond notice period.
It adds that a court hearing is to be requested to remove the caravans from the land, owned by Warrington Borough Council.
The log states: “We are unable to advise how long it will take to arrange the date of the hearing as this is dependent on the court’s capacity, however it is usually within a few working days.”
