ARTISAN markets are set to return to Birchwood this weekend, with a festive twist.
The markets will be at Birchwood Shopping Centre on Saturday, December 10.
More than 60 independent traders will be at the market for what promises to be a fantastic day for Christmas shopping.
The markets will be hosted at the shopping centre, outside of Entrance Four, from 10am until 4pm.
There will be local food, crafts and gift producers, mulled wine, festive treats, freshly baked produce from micro bakeries, street food, epic cakes, fresh roasted coffee, deli, handcrafted jewellery, arts, craft, candles, cheeses, wax melts, dog treats and more.
As well as the stalls will be live music to keep shoppers entertained throughout the day.
Face painters will be on-site, too, to keep the little shoppers occupied for a while.
The markets have been coordinated by Independent Street - a company that champions small businesses - and Birchwood Shopping Centre.
If guests venture inside the shopping centre on Saturday, they will find Father Christmas, his elves, and his grotto, too.
John Magee, Birchwood Shopping Centre manager, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Independent Street to deliver our Christmas Artisan Market, and we can't wait to see as many of our customers as possible enjoying the atmosphere and discovering the unique selection of crafts and gifts that will be on offer.
"We are looking forward to another fantastic day."
Lisa Cowley from Independent Street added: "We are delighted to be back at Birchwood.
"We have a super event planned, packed full of festive treats and entertainment.
"Pop along and join us, it is a superb opportunity to find out the origins of your food and meet our makers and bakers.
"Our event will be packed full of entertainment, live music and fun for the whole family."
Birchwood's artisan market will take place at Birchwood Shopping Centre, outside Entrance 4, between 10am and 4pm.
The event is free to enter, and is dog friendly, too.
