Long delays on M62 in Warrington following rush hour crash (Image: Police)
THERE are long delays in west Warrington this morning following an early morning crash.
It happened on the M62 westbound between junction 8 at Burtonwood and 7 at Rainhill.
Delays are back to junction nine at Winwick.
While there is also queuing traffic on the eastbound side, back to junction 6 at Tarbock Island), as onlookers slowed to look at the accident.
Travel time is around 35 minutes.
The road was closed for almost half an hour.
Drivers have reported long delays on roads around Great Sankey, Westbrook, Penketh and through west Warrington and motorists divert.
