TWO culprits have been caught on CCTV fly-tipping at a property in Orford this week.
Shocking footage from a security camera shows the individuals carrying a mattress and dumping it into a property on Kirkstone Avenue at approximately 8pm on Monday evening.
The property is believed to have been unoccupied for several months, and a skip has sat in the front garden since January, according to a resident on the street.
Since the house has had no occupiers, it has been a hotspot for fly-tippers and has accumulated mounds of rubbish that sits on show at the front.
On the issue of fly-tipping, a Warrington Borough Council spokesman previously said: “We strive to keep streets and public places clean.
“Most of the incidents in Warrington occur in back alleys and private residential areas. We are working hard to reduce this.
“Warrington was successful in being awarded a fly-tipping intervention grant of £35,000 from Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) earlier this year.
“This has enabled us work with communities to raise awareness on the sensible steps they can take to help us to collect and dispose of their waste.
