ALL traffic has been stopped on the M62 eastbound this morning, Thursday, after an accident.
The incident happened between junction eight for Burtonwood and junction nine for Winwick, with traffic held around 8.05am.
Ten minutes later, all lanes reopened, but travel time is still 25 minutes.
There is congestion back to junction seven.
