A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car was spotted driving ‘erratically’ last night, Tuesday.

Officers in Lymm stopped a vehicle due to the manner in which it was being driven.

A breath test saw the man arrested, with further checks reportedly revealing issues regarding insurance, the man’s licence and permissions to drive the vehicle.

The force’s Lymm Police team said: “Overnight, a male was seen driving erratically around Lymm village.

“This vehicle was stopped by police officers who breathalysed this male. He was then subsequently arrested for drink driving.

“Further investigation found that this male was also driving without insurance or a valid license and had taken the vehicle without consent of the owner.”
