WARRINGTON was transformed into a winter wonderland over the weekend.
The town centre was bustling as a jam-packed weekend full of Christmas activities and events took place.
Time Square welcomed a funfair, swing grill and Christmas Artisan Markets while the Golden Square hosted a series of school and community Christmas choir performances.
Meanwhile, Father Christmas paid a visit to the town and Brazillian Katumba drummers put on a brilliant display as they travelled through the town centre.
Street entertainers also roamed Warrington – with appearances from Santa’s elves and the Grinch.
The popular At No.25 art installation by Culture Warrington also returned with artists Erica Wilkinson and Lauren Muir have created a “festive Nordic inspired space” in a twist on last year’s highly acclaimed Christmas exhibit.
Both Saturday and Sunday were capped off with a spectacular After Dark light and sound show of a festive story at the Town Hall.
