IF you fancy a glimpse into the creative minds of Warrington’s art students, you might want to pay a visit to the town’s first ever Art’s Fringe Festival that will be opening its doors this month.
Students at Warrington & Vale Royal College have collaborated with the organisers of Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival to bring a unique opportunity to their students to showcase and gain experience within the creative industry.
And the results of weeks of hard work will be on display at an exciting free exhibition in the edgy new art location on Sankey Street, New Art Spaces: Warrington, from Friday, November 25 to Sunday, December 4.
Aspiring art students from the college have spent hours transforming the open ground floor space into a unique exhibition of artist talks, live animation, and ‘incredible’ artwork.
The idea for the Fringe Festival sprung from the Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival theme, which this year has revolved around ‘connections’ and how the festival shines light on new talent within the industry.
The contemporary arts festival returned this year for its twelfth year running and has a vast range of events packed into its two-month schedule.
