A NEW strength training gym has opened on Slutchers Lane, in the centre of Warrington.
Bank Quay Strength Club opened last month, and is now accepting new members into December.
The club is located in Unit Seven on the Bank Quay industrial estate off Slutchers Lane.
This is the former site of disgraced garage Crest Motorsport Northwest Ltd, which still owes more than £160,000 to clients in unfulfilled orders.
Bank Quay Strength Club is equipped with World's Strongest Man training facilities, which includes weighted stones ranging between 20kg and 160kg - or 3.2st to 25st, in old money.
The strength training gym is also equipped with 'car deadlift' equipment, and wooden log presses, too.
As well as these impressive facilities, the club also boasts standard weightlifting equipment that may be more familiar to most gymgoers.
New members are being accepted by the strength training club in December, with the club's owner, Kane Pemberton, offering new users' first session for free.
The club will have a limited number of members, which reflects the gym's specialism in terms of strength and weight training.
Warrington's newest strength training gym promises a no-frills and no high-tech approach to fitness - focusing entirely on weights, and muscle-building practices.

Bank Quay Strength Club can be found at Unit Seven of Bank Quay industrial estate, off Slutchers Lane, in the centre of Warrington.
