ONE of Warrington’s largest employers has been celebrating five years based in the town.
The Amazon fulfilment centre at Omega has recently marked its fifth anniversary by hosting a range of fun activities for employees.
The warehouse team took part in activities on site including games, sweet treats and prize giveaways.
Employees are looking forward to reaching further milestones in the future.
James Pitt, site leader at Amazon Warrington, said: “We have had five great years in Warrington, and we wanted to do something special to say thank you to our team for all their efforts.
“It has been fun to bring everyone together to celebrate our anniversary.”
Ashleigh Green, who works as a receptionist at the Omega site, added: “We are proud of what we have achieved as a team.
“These celebrations were a great way to mark our fifth birthday together and have some fun.”
Since opening its doors in 2017, Amazon Warrington has supported many community organisations through donations.
Over the past five years, the fulfilment centre has donated a total of £55,000 to charities across the town.
In 2022, the team has made donations totalling £8,000 to charities including Bread and Butter Thing, Home Start and Armed Forces Community Support.
