THE final instalment of our photos from above series shows the two cities that can be seen from the top of Fiddler’s Ferry.
The Cuerdley power station is now decommissioned with work planned to demolish and redevelop the site.
Before this happens, we sent photographer Dave Gillespie to the top of the stack – the tallest building within the complex.
From there, as well as neighbouring towns, in the distance you can see the skylines of both Liverpool and Manchester.
To the east, the many high-rise skyscrapers that make up Manchester are visible, as are the cranes that are building more.
Meanwhile to the west, the iconic Liver Building can be seen alongside the Anglican Cathedral.
Further in the distance is Catholic Cathedral and Radio City Tower.
