AN air ambulance was dispatched to Warrington following a crash involving a boy on a bike and a car yesterday, Monday.
The helicopter, along with a response vehicle, ambulance and police, attended Liverpool Road in Great Sankey at around 9am.
This came after following a 999 call reporting that a 12-year-old boy riding a bike was involved in a collision with a car.
It is thought that he sustained minor injuries only, however he was taken to Alder Hey Hospital by road for checks.
