A NEW state-of-the-art care facility in Warrington is nearing its completion date and will soon offer elderly residents a ‘hotel-style’ service and fine dining experiences as part of its ‘exceptional’ care package.
Lymm will be home to the 66-bed care home owned by ‘New Care’, which promises to provide specially catered care facilities and services for its future residents.
And they won’t be on their own as the site, formerly known as the Macdonald Hotel, will also be host to a nursery and 45 retirement apartments in part of the major £15million development.
Construction workers from the McGoff Group who have spearheaded the multigenerational site, have been hard at work making the building watertight and a team of contractors are now developing the luxury interior in time for completion in December.
The care home will be known as Statham Manor and each room promises to provide the ultimate level of comfort, with private en-suite bathrooms, views of ‘beautifully landscaped gardens’ and lavish communal lounges and dining rooms for residents to enjoy.
And with an in-house hair salon and nail bar, they will essentially have a small town on their very doorstep.
Commissioning director at New Care, Dawn Collett, said: “Work on site is progressing well and, with less than one month to go until practical completion, Statham Manor is really taking shape.
“The care facility has been expertly designed to offer outstanding care in a stylish environment, and we are already starting to recruit the 100-strong team and our first residents.”
