A DOUGHNUT store in the Old Fish Market is set for an exciting move to new premises this week.
Planet Doughnut will be moving from its current site into new premises at the entrance to the mall.
The new store will be shared with an Asian restaurant - Chopstix - and will be the second collaboration between the brands.
Featured in the store alongside vegan and standard doughnuts will be waffles, cookie dough, and other freshly-made desserts.
The store will continue to provide fresh coffee, too, from Shrewsbury Roastery, Iron and Fire.
Planet Doughnut was founded in 2017 by husband and wife team Duncan and Samantha McGregor, and now has nearly 10 stores in its arsenal.
Duncan said: “Ever since opening in Warrington we have had a great welcome and really gained a loyal following for not only our doughnuts but our barista-made coffee.
"We are excited to open this new venture with Sparta Foods who have managed to transform the site into an amazing new blended eatery.”
With Christmas around the corner, you can expect to see lots of new, festive flavours on the menu for the festive season, adding more options to the already-huge menu at Planet Doughnut.
The new premises will officially open at 11am on Friday, November 25.
On the menu already are nine vegan options, including Jammie Dodger, Lotus Biscoff, and Cookies and Cream.
There are 20 standard flavours, too, including Caramel Cheesecake, Kinder, Rolo, and Aero Bubbles.
Opening on Friday, the first 25 guests will receive a Planet Doughnut 'gold card,' and the first 50 guests will get a free doughnut and a goodie bag.
The 'gold card' is the equivalent of 12 free doughnuts, but it cannot be used on opening weekend - to qualify for the free items, guests must spend £5 in the store.
Planet Doughnut reopens its doors at its new site in the Old Market Place on Friday, November 25, at 11am.
