A CHRISTMAS crafts fair is heading to Birchwood this weekend.
Birchwood Women's Institute is hosting its Christmas crafts fair on Saturday, November 26.
The fair will be taking place at Birchwood Community Centre, between 10am and 3pm.
It is anticipated that the fair will be a good opportunity for the community to purchase a variety of Christmas gifts in anticipation of the big day.
This comes as Birchwood Shopping Centre announces its Christmas calendar that is chocked full of community events - all free of charge.
The Women's Institute craft fair in Birchwood will be a chance for people to come together and peruse the unique handmade gifts on offer at the fair.
Handmade jewellery, Christmas decorations, and evergreen wreaths will be on offer for shoppers to buy, too.
Birchwood Women's Institute promises to have 'numerous unique gifts to solve all your Christmas present problems' on offer.
As the cold weather comes in, there will be a variety of hot drinks on offer to keep the cold at bay, as well as a range of homemade cakes on sale, too.
Birchwood Women's Institute was founded in 1990, and now has around 25 active members - they meet every second Wednesday of the month at Birchwood Leisure and Tennis Centre, Benson Road, at 7:30pm.
Birchwood's Christmas craft fair will be held at Birchwood Community Centre on Saturday, November 26, between 10am and 3pm.
The fair is free to enter, with hot drinks available, as well as mince pies, and homemade cakes.
Birchwood Community Centre can be found on Delenty Drive.
