A GROUP of travellers have been ordered to vacate the site of an unauthorised encampment in Fearnhead.
Seven caravans pitched up at Hawthorn Community Centre on Tuesday.
This is according to an unauthorised encampment log for Cheshire and Warrington run by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
It came after caravans were ordered to leave a nearby camp on land off Ordnance Avenue in Birchwood.
In an update this afternoon, the travellers have been served with a notice served directing them to leave the council-owned community centre land by 5pm tomorrow, Friday.
The log states that there is also another unauthorised traveller camp on Silver Lane in Risley.
Three caravans pitched up there on Tuesday.
