WARRINGTON Hospital is hosting its first in-person members meeting since 2019.

Following two years of online meetings during the Covid pandemic, the annual event is set to take place on November 30 from 5pm to 6.30pm.

It will be hosted at the Lecture Theatre in the Education Centre at Warrington Hospital.

And prior to the formal meeting, the trust will also be hosting a marketplace at the Kendrick Restaurant, which is at the main entrance of the hospital, which will take place from 2pm to 4pm.

Here, staff from the diabetes team, long Covid support service, cancer screening services, new hospitals, volunteering and patient experience teams, as well as the trust governors, will be there to answer questions and gather feedback about their services.

Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust chairman Steve McGuirk said: “We are delighted to be welcoming our members and the public back to our hospital for our annual members’ meeting.

"It is a fantastic opportunity to hear more about how the trust has performed over the last financial year and our plans for the future.”

To register attendance at the meeting and to find out more about attending virtually via MS Teams please visit the annual members’ meeting page on the Trust website.

Parking will be free for all those attending the formal meeting and refreshments will be available from 5pm in the Education Centre.
