A PERSON was given oxygen after suffering smoke inhalation in a house fire yesterday, Sunday.
Two fire engines from Warrington and Lymm fire stations were dispatched to Slater Street in Latchford at around 2.40pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the fire, which broke out in the front room of the property.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service incident report states that everyone from the house was accounted for.
Gas and electricity supplies were isolated, while and a high pressure fan was used to ventilate the building.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check there was no heat spread.
One casualty suffered slight smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy by firefighters.
An investigation revealed that the fire is believed to have started after a candle fell onto a bookshelf.
