POLICE officers have been out on patrol in response to a series of anti-social behaviour at shops in Woolston.
It comes after the Warrington Guardian reported that yobbish activity by youths is making the lives of workers at Dam Lane shops a ‘nightmare’.
In a letter, one business owner said that the precinct is a ‘blot on the landscape, filthy and a massive health and safety risk’.
“There is evidence of fires being deliberately started by gangs of kids who make my work life a nightmare, as I own and run a business there,” they said.
They added that the ‘filthy exterior is an accident waiting to happen and making my life hell’.
Cheshire Police officers in the area were actively patrolling the area last night, Friday, in an attempt to crack down on ASB.
