A UNIQUE takeaway serving delicious Japanese food has arrived in Warrington.
Zumuku Sushi has opened on Warrington Road in the spot of a former Japanese takeaway.
Owners John Yap and Kathleen Busby said that when they saw the Penketh site was available, it was an opportunity they couldn’t miss.
The pair, who own the franchise in Worsley, opened the Warrington branch just last week with a whole new look.
Everything down from the interior to the menu has been changed – with this franchise boasting the biggest menu so far.
As well as sushi, Zumuku Sushi offers a whole range of food ranging from bao buns to katsu curry to ramen.
Kathleen, who has been a chef for more than 10 years, said: “At the moment, we are a takeaway but customers get the same quality of food that they would if they went to a restaurant.
“We just couldn’t miss the opportunity.”
So far, customer favourites have been the kamikaze chicken wings and the Zumu platter – which contains a choice of either 40 or 60 sushi pieces.
John and Kathleen, who have been friends and colleagues for more than five years, can’t wait to welcome and meet customers.
“We are offering great quality food and amazing service,” added John.
Zumuku Sushi Warrington offers both home delivery and click and collect.
The branch is also offering customers 10 per cent off their first app order.
