TODAY is Armistice Day - November 11 - which marked the end of the First World War in 1918.
This weekend, Warrington will fall silent on Remembrance Sunday in honour of all its fallen heroes during services at the cenotaph and across the town.
There will be a parade setting off from the Town Hall at 10.30am heading towards Bridge Foot with the Mayor of Warrington Cllr Jean Flaherty joining veterans, religious leaders and members of the armed forces.
We asked who you will be remembering this weekend.
Will you be thinking of someone who was injured or didn’t return home from serving in a war?
Here is a selection of your messages for friends and family who you will be honouring today and on Sunday.
