PROGRESS is continuing ‘at pace’ to complete part of the £28million care facility project at the former Lymm Hotel site on Whitbarrow Road.

Building works are currently ongoing to create the complex, launched by the McGoff Group, which will feature a children’s nursery, a 66-bed care home and 45 retirement apartments.

Successful children’s nursery group, Back To the Garden located in Altrincham is set to open its second branch at the impressive development upon its completion date this December.

While care home, Statham Manor is also on track to open its doors in the same month.

The £2million nursery project has had several recent updates with the building now being watertight, meaning work is now underway to carve out the interior for the ‘innovative’ learning space.

90 places will be made available for children in the area to attend from ages 3 months up to five years, and 30 positions will become open for potential employees at the nursery with staff vacancies including a nursery manager, teachers and a chef.Warrington Guardian: Previous images were released of drone shots from during the construction of the site.Previous images were released of drone shots from during the construction of the site. Founder of Back to the Garden Childcare, Jeannie Pickering, says: “Work on site is progressing well and with just weeks to go until practical completion, the nursery is really starting to come together and looks superb.

“Working in partnership with McGoff Construction, the nursery has been designed meticulously with every last detail carefully considered, allowing the team to deliver outstanding care to the children in a safe, stimulating and stylish environment.”

A spokesperson from the McGoff Group said: “The new Back to the Garden Childcare nursery forms part of a wider multi-generational development, which also includes a stunning state-of-the-art 66 bed care home and a superb collection of 45 individually designed one- and two-bedroom apartments for those in later life or retirement.

“The care facility, Statham Manor, will officially open in December, so too will the show apartment at Minerva Place.”

The unique nursery brand, Back To the Garden, focuses its ‘child-led learning’ and development around nature and the environment, with an ‘expertly designed’ outdoor space being built for children to explore whatever the weather.

Children who attend will be given the opportunity to learn yoga, play in nature, explore the enchanted tepee space, grow and nurture plants and eat food made from locally sourced ingredients.

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming the children to the new nursery in Lymm.  The setting is stunning and the design fantastic.  It is a very exciting time for the company as we open our second nursery, building on the success of our flagship nursery in Altrincham,” Jeannie added.
