THE Tongans have come to town!

Having been based in St Helens for the Rugby League World Cup group stages, Kristian Woolf’s side were officially welcomed to Warrington yesterday having chosen the town as their new base.

They will take the field at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday for their mouth-watering quarter-final clash with Samoa.

Papua New Guinea, who were based in Warrington for the group stages, are understood to have chosen a base closer to Wigan ahead of their last-eight clash with England at the DW Stadium tomorrow.
