A 93-YEAR-old man has been hospitalised following a car crash in Longford.
At around 5.15pm last night, Thursday, police were called to reports of a crash on Northway.
Officers attended the scene and found a Honda Jazz had collided with three parked cars.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “The driver of the Honda, a 93-year-old man, was medically trapped inside the vehicle.
“The man was released by firefighters and taken to Aintree Hospital with serious injuries.”
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue said that firefighters rescued the man and gave him first aid before paramedics arrived.
Fire crews from Warrington and Birchwood attended the scene.
