POLICE have warned ‘speed kills’ after a driver was spotted travelling at 42pmh past a primary school.
A speed enforcement was carried out by Bewsey and Whitecross Police this morning, Thursday, on Bewsey Road which has a speed limit of 30mph.
In just over half an hour, eight drivers exceeded the limit.
And in particular, one driver was recorded travelling faster than 40mph passed a primary school.
The Facebook post reads: “Unfortunately there were 8 drivers exceeding the permitted limit, with one driver clearly thinking it was ok to drive past a primary school at 42mph.
“If you happen to be one of these eight drivers, you'll hear from us soon.
“Remember, speed kills.”
