A MAN has been arrested after police raided a cannabis farm in Woolston.
Officers executed a drugs warrant at an address on New Cut Road on Friday, October 28.
Once inside, a number of plants of the class B controlled drug were seized.
Officers arrested a man and he has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “On Friday, October 28, officers were made aware of a possible cannabis farm at a property on New Cut Road, Warrington.
“Officers attended the address and discovered a number cannabis plants which have since been seized.
“A 34-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of class B drugs.
“He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.”
