THE final green bin collections of the year in Warrington will take place later this month.
The council has confirmed the final collections for 2022 will be between November 21 and December 2.
The service will then resume in March.
Council bosses are asking residents to have all garden waste in your bin before the service closes for 2022.
Subscriptions for 2023 service will be on offer from December.
Prices have not yet been revealed but were £37 online or £41 in person from Contact Warrington last year.
Warrington Borough Council has increased the charge every year since fees first came in.
A spokesman said: "The money we receive from central government has reduced year on year and has affected the services we can provide.
"There is now not enough money to support a free garden waste collection and instead of shutting the service down we still offer it for a small fee."
