THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain in Warrington overnight.
The warning runs from today, Monday at 8pm until 8am tomorrow Tuesday.
A spell of heavy rain is expected overnight which may lead to some localised disruption according to forecasts.
The weather warning is in place for much of the north of England.
Rain is already falling in parts of the town as youngsters make their way out trick or treating.
The Met Office issues warnings of:
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
- Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
