POLICE have been mounting extra patrols to tackle anti-social behaviour.
Op Treacle, an annual campaign, has seen community officers providing a visible presence in the run up to mischief night and Halloween.
PCSOs have been carrying out patrols in the town centre, Orford Park, Chapelford, Great Sankey South, Stockton Heath, Latchford and various other areas.
Officers have distributed leaflets to advise shopkeepers not to sell eggs and flour to youngsters.
