PULP have been confirmed to be headlining 2023's NBHD Weekender at Victoria Park.

The britpop sensation singers of 'Common People' were unveiled today as the headline act for Sunday, May 28, 2023.

Headlining on Saturday night will be Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot - know for their duet 'Caravan of Love.'

Other acts confirmed for the festival include The Wombats, Scouting for Girls, The Kooks, Ella Henderson, and The Big Moon.

NBHD regulars Reverend and the Makers will also be attending the event next year.

Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker said: "Three months ago, we asked, 'What exactly do you do for an encore?'

"Well… An encore happens when the crowd makes enough noise to bring the band back to the stage.

"So… We are playing in the UK and Ireland in 2023. Therefore… Come along and make some noise. See you there.”

Pop sensations Anne-Marie, Ella Henderson and Sugababes have also been announced, as have two of this year’s breakthrough artists, the Mercury-nominated Self Esteem and Australian dance duo Confidence Man.

Neighbourhood Weekender kicks off the summer with an incredible weekend of non-stop live music across three stages, alongside local concessions and festival favourites The Neighbourhood Inn, The Cornershop, The Library Silent Disco and much more.

General sale tickets for NBHD Weekender go on sale on November 4.

Those with postcodes WA1-WA5 have pre-sale tickets available from Wednesday, November 2.
