THE dates for Culcheth village's annual Christmas market and the switching on of the festive lights have been announced.
As well as the markets and lights, it has been announced that there will also be carol singing, too.
The event will take place all day, and there are still places available for traders to book a stall with Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council.
As announced on social media, the date for the event will be Saturday, November 26.
It will begin at 11 o'clock in the morning and will run until 5pm in the evening.
The Christmas lights are due to be switched on at around 4:15pm, according to the parish council, and that will take place at the Millennium Garden, on the junction between Common Lane and Warrington Road.
December 13 will mark 21 years since the completion of the construction of the garden, as work on the local landmark was finished in 2001 - work began on the area in September 2001, before being completed in time for Christmas.
The Christmas markets will take place 'in and around' the centre of the village, and residents can expect lots of festive cheer to be spread during the event.
