A NEW sport has been introduced to children at Croft Primary School.
Pupils were coached in tag wrestling by Jesse Bradbury who is a regional coach for the England Northern Region.
Jesse, who is a parent at the Mustard Lane school, has more than 25 years of involvement in wrestling which he was able to share with the children.
When he offered to showcase the sport, staff ‘jumped’ at the chance to try it out.
Head teacher Anne Mains said: “This is one of the world’s oldest sports and it is amazing to see how much fun the children have had taking part.
“We are always keen to try new sports and this has been one of the best.”
