ONE person has been hospitalised following a crash in the town centre this afternoon, Monday.
The incident involved a black BMW and an orange Renault Clio at around 2pm on the junction of Crosfields Street and Liverpool Road.
Emergency services – including police and an ambulance – attended the scene.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson revealed it is believed that one of the drivers was suffering from a 'possible medical episode'.
One person has been taken to hospital as a result of the crash.
And Liverpool Road has been closed while the incident is dealt with.
