DID you spot this giant 13ft puppet in the town centre this weekend?
Eko, a sea giant puppet, came to Warrington as part of the town’s Rugby League World Cup celebrations.
The giant puppet was part of a large-scale outdoor performance by Autin Dance Theatre which was inspired by themes of climate emergency and biodiversity crisis.
Eko was spotted yesterday, Sunday, in Time Square, Dolman’s Lane, Bridge Street and at Old Market Place.
As well this, there were various other family events and activities taking place – including an actual reality arcade and plenty of arts and crafts.
And rugby fans were able to enjoy England’s opening game in Newcastle which was screened in the Golden Square’s fan zone.
