THIS year’s Lymm Fireworks Display is set to be the most spectacular yet.

The display has been a popular annual event in the village for more than 20 years and it usually attracts around 900 people.

Cube Homes, a housebuilder behind the new development of luxury homes on Star Lane, has donated £1,000 to this year’s event which is organised by the Lymm and District Round Tab

The display will be taking place on Saturday, November 5, in the grounds of Cherry Tree Primary School.

There will be funfair rides, and refreshment stalls and Lymm Radio Station will be live at the event.

All funds raised on the night will go to charities in the area.

Mark Swettenham, organiser of the Lymm and District Round Table, said: “We are very grateful to Cube Homes for sponsoring the event and donating towards the firework display which is a real highlight of the local social calendar.

“All the money raised from the event will be used to support local charities.”

Chris Heath, managing Director of Cube Homes, added: “The local community has been very welcoming to us since we started building in Lymm and we were pleased to have the chance to support the Fireworks Display which sounds like it will be a terrific night.

“Hopefully some of the people who buy homes at Hawthorn Grange will be able to join in the fun next year.”
