THERE are delays on the M6 southbound this morning, Monday, following an earlier accident.
Although the carriageway has re-opened, there is still slow traffic between junction 21a for the Croft Interchange and junction 21 for Woolston.
Traffic is back to junction 24 for Ashton after all traffic was held for 20 minutes.
This is due to an accident which is now on the hard shoulder of the Thelwall Viaduct.
Slow traffic has also been reported on the M62 as traffic joins the M6, as well as the M6 northbound as drivers slow down to look at the accident.
